I had never read nor listened to a James Patterson novel, and after this I don't plan to again. The story line was acceptable, but the use of profanity and sexual sidelines made the story sound cheap. I have no issues with either of these (as I use them myself on a regular basis), but using them in a novel without a specific character development reasoning is just finding an easy way out, and shows a lack of creativity by the author. The final chapters playing drama music in the background was also over the top and not needed for someone used to reading vs. watching a movie.
Although I enjoyed the book, the audio additions were a little strange and sometimes overshadowed the reader's voice. Also, the one random tire squeal sound effect was also odd. The extra sounds should have been left out. I did really like that there were 3 different readers.
Great book loved the Narrators. James Patterson is one of my favorite authors and he sure didnt let me down on this one.
Exceptional narration for yet another terrific Patterson novel. Unprepared for the accuracy of the accents involved. The story was exceptional and the book got me through about 50 miles on the treadmill without a second thought!
