Yes, I actually just recommended it this morning to a friend as well as the preceding Alex Kennedy book, Tempted.
When Alex proposes to Olivia.
The impromptu photo shoot between Olivia and Alex when they are painting the apartment.
Yes, but couldn't as I was listening at work.
I loved this book and am actually listening to it for a second time. It didn't dawn on me that this was THE Alex from Tempted until he was talking to Jamie on the phone and then it clicked with me. That made me rush home and listen to Tempted all over again. Love the Megan Hart books and hope she does a sequel to Naked so that we know what becomes of Olivia and Alex.
Yes, narrator did a great job
Olivia and Alex, the dynamics between the two of them were interesting.
Yes, when Olivia was about to break up with Alex because of Ann.
I would like to see another book with Alex's side of this story.
no. if i didnt listen to it i don't think i would have read it.
um its an wth moment ! thats all
um ya i would listen to her again she did a good job.
nothing really moved me, this book was a nice filler for me till i found another book to listen to.
have an open mind when listing to this book
I've never read a Megan Hart book, so this was a pleasant surprise. The author really keeps a good story going with wonderful sex scenes. I cared about the people and enjoyed their complex journey. Will definitely read more of her books.
I also thought the narrator did a great job.
No, just turned off to the author
Well, she's good at creating distinct characters
Annoyance. This book was one giant excuse to have a ton of sex scenes, I know entirely too much about Olivia's crotch area. The story is weak and there is no romance or romantic chemistry between the lead characters. Crazy how Olivia's best friend, Patrick, was so quickly extracted from her life after they were so tight for years. A lot of the things seem a bit random and don't make sense. The only reason I gave the book 2 stars overall instead of 1 is because I could bring myself to finish it.
Probably not unless I got it for free this was the first Hart book that I read. Her writing isn't bad but the story seemed incomplete and rushed in some places.
The story was long-winded regarding unimportant details and rushed on some important ones.
The performer had a pleasant voice, differentiated between characters and the story itself.
I like the fact that this was an interracial love story that addressed the race, but wasn't burdened by it. Also, the title says it all- what made tge story naked was the vulnerability of the characters. Yes, there were some erotic parts, this is Megan Hart afterall, but again, it was the character's soul that was layed bare.
It was a process for me to purchase this book. I read some of the reviews and they were very mixed. Still, I plunged ahead and made the purchase and I am glad that I did. First, I wasn't simply looking for smut-I've read a few Megan Hart books and she doesn't do that anyway. I was looking for a well written interracial fiction and I got it. The fact that Ms. Hart is non-black or biracial author had no bearing on the authenticity of the character. The fact that the Hero was gay/bisexual? Well unfortunately, lots of people are dealing with that very issue. The spoiler that they lived happily ever after with her becoming pregnant? Completely False. That said, here is what you are going to get:
A story with erotic elements about a woman who is struggling to fit in-with her family, herself, her friends, in relationships, who enters an unlikely relationship with a man who could be the biggest mistake of her life or her biggest joy. In order to find out which it will be, both of them had to bare themselves and become unbelievably Naked.
I was expecting more sex right from the beginning since it was labeled under the erotica section. But the beginning really delves into character development to make this more of a book with a story to tell and less about the steamy sex scenes. I really enjoyed the exploration the story weaves to explain why the heroine is the way she is and her continuing self revelations. Alex also has character growth throughout the book. The one I really feel sorry for is Patrick. I feel like he is so emotionally stunted that he never sees that he is trying to sabotage Olivia's relationships. This was an enjoyable read with good story/character development. I would definitely listen to it again.
I loved this book! I am a Megan Hart fan and this one was fantastic! I am intrigued with the main character Alex. If you haven't read Tempted, it is a must read too! I rate books by whether I would read them again! This is definately one I would pick up again! This book had a great story with lots of hott scenes intermingled.
I loved this book. Alex Kennedy is in Tempted by Megan Hart. I fell in love with him in Tempted and loved him in Naked. Knowing his character the book ended diffrent than I expected. I recommend this book and Tempted if you like this one.
