I really enjoyed this book. The characters were all very interesting, particularly Lydia. She is raw and doesn't care who knows it. Lydia's narrator has the perfect voice for her character. I laughed so much. This was even better than A Total Eclipse of the Heart! I have always enjoyed Zane's books. A reading must for Zane fans!!
I love the way. Zane keeps the reader guessing the whole time how things will turn out between both girls Lydia and Malena . The sexual overtures and the suspense was great. This book was definitely a page-turner.
Let me START with how tired I grew of the character Lydia's awkward exclamations of the phrase "real talk!" OMG.
Secondly, her storyline was quite boring until the end.
There was also a lot of build up, with an abrupt ending... aka five-year "fast forward."
The book was just OK. I had to finish because I started it and had used a credit, but it was simply a pass-time.
Best part was the ending. I was happy with the outcomes of the characters, but that's about it. 55+ chapters to get there was a bit much. lol
It's NOT a terrible book, just a bit mediocre.
I loved it. It is not completely predictable which makes it even more enjoyable. It's sexually explicit but also has substance.
The turn of events was great!
Lydia because she is no hold bar.
The narrators were exciting and peaked my interests.
