I enjoy counter-terrorism, westerns, historical fiction, detective mysteries, and old school comedy like "A Christmas Story".
There's a new hero in town, and his name is "The Gray Man". There is a new top espionage writer in town, and his name is Mark Greaney(look out Vince Flynn). There is a new top narrator in town, and his name is Jay Snyder(look out Mr. Guidall). I bought two of the three books in the series after having read another reviewers praise of the "Gray Man" Series. I have now finished the first 2 of 3 books and am nearly finished with the 3rd. If you like the action Mitch Rappp character in the many Vince Flynn books as well as the non stop action epitomized in the Indiana Jones series, you will love this series. However if you plan to get to sleep at night, don't plan to listen to just 30 minutes before bed. You will lose hours of sleep in this extraordinary action thriller. I can't wait for the next book to come out!
Never heard of Mark Greaney prior to seeing his name on Audible. One of the most enjoyable listening I have had. I look forward to downloading more of his work.
I love books!
My first by this author. It wasn't deep but it was an enjoyable, entertaining listen. Kind of Vince Flynn/Mitch Rapp like. This guy couldn't catch a break. I'll listen to the author again.
I enjoyed this book. It was a little different from what you usually find in this genre, but kept to much of the basic formula as well. Great first book. The other books in the series were not quite as good, but still entertaining.
Great book some unrealistic survival sequences and a little predictable but over all a good fun read.
This was like a Bourne adventure, and I don't even remember buying it! But I must say that I couldn't stop listening to it once I started. I even went and bought the next two in the series!
The only warning I would give is to make sure, before you start this book, that you have 11 hours of listening time available because once you start it you won't want to stop.
The Gray Man caught me from the beginning and held me until the end, it was non-stop pulse pounding action like few others!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It kept me entertained and gripped for 2 days and I couldn't wait to get my headset on and into the car. The plot was fast moving albeit a bit far-fetched in certain places. I overlooked those details because of the sheer pace of the story. Brilliantly narrated, although the accents were not that good.
A spectacular novel about an agent turned to contract assassin! the audio book is a treat to get lost in the book for hours together! The author and the reader did a great job of describing Europe beautifully!
i loved it and could relate the stories to what i used to read in other languages growing up in India! This will make a good action movie!
