Anyone who like daytime soap operas
Didn't have one.
George G, the best.
Yes, I could stop listening.
I am an eBay seller who listens to approx. a book a day while taking & editing photos of my items. I love a good suspenseful mystery!
I once read a review where the reviewer stated that readers either love or hate Scott Brick and this is so true! I have found I am one who can not stand Scott Brick! I have tried and tried and tried but there's no getting past it. Even knowing this I sometimes think if a book is a good enough deal that maybe I can get past the voice and just hear the story but it never fails if SB is reading the story I hate it!
All that said this story is pretty bad and I'm not sure that SB's voice made it worse. The whole thing is unbelievable and full of some of the most annoying and ridiculously unbelievable scenarios every printed. I hate stupid characters. I hate when characters make decisions in books that are so bad the writer feels the need to make the character validate the decision with sentences like 'I don't know why I did xyz but I just did'....really?!! WTF!
Save your money, time and energy and buy anything but this book!
Such a fun ride by a talented writer. The quality of the narration was superb. It really brought the story to life in a way that I wouldn't have experienced reading the story in a book.
Very good read. The author has some original twists in a genre where that isn't often easy. Although some of the plot is predictable, it isn't the predictable read that so many others are. Certainly worth the credit.
the premise was good but the telling was slow and repetitive.
Scott has performed better. His characters seemed similar in voice and too non emotional.
