It starts where the first book left off, and moves the story into more terrifing twists and turns. The ending is incredible and I hope to see a 3rd book very soon.
I really like this story. I have listened to this and the first book more than once. I could listen to both again. I can hardly wait until the 3rd book comes out. I hope they keep the same narrater. He tells the story so well. His voice is perfect!
On the edge
Jay kept the book moving and interesting, you knew who was speaking from the tones and nuances!
Beyond exile is a continuation to Day by Day Armageddon. It kept me interested and wanting to hear what would happen next. It did get a little too mental sometimes in that it would get too engrossed in character thought process. With that, I do look forward to book 3.
Great overall story
Saving the two people at the airport
The main character
Wish I would have realized this was the 2nd book in the series. Even though I read this one first, I never got lost. When he was on his own and trying to get back to the compound....it dragged on a little long.
I have never had a reaction to a book before, but i found myself "cheering" on the characters.
I can believe i am saying this, but this one was better then the first. The ending was insane, and i can wait for the third!
Well...behind Joe Mckinny and Max Brooks, J.L. Bourne has done a great great job with Day by Day. I truely enjoyed this book.
The entire book was great!! What I remember most from this book is how i felt like i was the main character. The story, the format of the story, is so well done that its hard to stop listening.
This is my first of a Jay Snyder read book. He did a awesome job.
"With every tomorrow brings a new level of fear".
This is a must for any zombie enthusiast. This is a must for any military veteran who is a zombie enthusiast. The story is good and the main character is very well done. I dont see how you cant like it.
The first book ended and the second book picked right up as though it was the next page in the book. Surprisingly the action increased with this book while building the character at the same time. The narrator has a fantastic grip on the lead character and really brings him and the story to life. I have listened to both books twice and can't wait for third!
title says it all, story was good, narration done well, it was just the ending. it seemed he ran out of time and did a quick ending..sad, as the story was enjoyable.-
