This book was a great character back story of a minor character Bree Tanner from the original series. It told what the change was like for the average every day Joe vampire. I'd really love if the author would do this with all her characters!
More information about the characters is always great, always like another perspective.
enjoyed the whole story
enjoyed her performance
It was just a good story
no, but I enjoyed the reading
addition to twilight
Bree, because she is barely mentioned in the Twilight series and in the novella we get to know her better.
A little annoying.
It's not necessary to make up a new voice or dialect when reading, it's quite annoying actually.
Although this was a short story, it definitely filled in the back story on the newborns and Bree's history. I am a Twilight fan, so this book fits nicely into the series. The reader is ok. Her voice is what I would expect of a teenage girl and it gave the audiobook an authentic feel. It was enjoyable.
I enjoy reading books that give you a different characters point of view. This book fills in the back story of the "army" that is being created to attack the Cullen's way of life. By telling the story of one new vampire, Stephenie Meyer gives clarity to the plotting of the Volturi to "collect" members (Edward, Alice and Bella) as well as the mind of Victoria. I hope she chooses to finish the book based on the story from Edwards point of view.
Loved this book. It is an interesting side story to the Twilight series. Just the right length so that the story keeps moving and there just are not any slow parts. If you liked the Twilight books you will also love this one. I would recommend though that you have read the first 3 Twilight books before starting this one.
I love to read books set in interesting places or historical settings. I especially love mysteries and thrillers.
This is the perfect book to follow reading Eclipse (or to read before viewing the movie, Eclipse) because it gives the viewpoint from the newborn vampires. The actress' reading of the book was very well done. My only complaint was I wanted to know more about some the characters, Riley and Fred for instance, but this is a very short book.
