I've listened to this book about 20 times now. I highly recommend spending the time on eat that frog instead, because that one has more instantly applicable advice and practices to implement into your activities and lifestyle for great results. No excuses, on the other hand, is an unclear, and completely arbitrary, collection of advice on how to live a happy life. Within the book Tracy tells you how to have a good marriage, from his own advice, how to be good father, from his own advice, how to think introspectively, from his own advice, etc.
There's some good advice with in the book, that is actually able to be practiced and implemented into your life, but they're also found in eat that frog, so why get this one? This book, in a nutshell, honestly is a huge undertaking for Tracy because he goes completely out of his league and outside of his capabilities in writing it. Read/listen to Tracy for procrastination/productivity. DON'T waste your time listening to his arbitrary how-to's for a perfect life; they're not tested or tried in anyone's life...except Tracy's. A real waste of time if you ask me.
If you are totally honest with yourself this book will help you get rid of the feeling of being helpless by making you realize that you are totally in control of your life if you would only stop making excuses!
Over 531 Books in the pass three years has Went Through My Mind. I love using audio Books.
once you listen to the book for the third time then you start applying the knowledge within your own life and your own business
While I bought this book to explore self-discipline, I found this book to be filled with a lot more than what I expected! The author talks about everything from relationships to exercise. I found it extremely fact-filled and is well worth the money. The author offers many examples of self-discipline and how to attain more of it.
The author, who narrates the book, leaves a little to be desired. He's not bad at it, but I definitely prefer other narrators.
If you're interested in self-discipline, I highly recommend this book. I've been disappointed with many of my audible purchases lately. This is not one of them.
This program really covered the many aspects of self discipline. I enjoyed it thoroughly and 1st self discipline book the I actually was able to get through.
