the humor is great makes me laugh
I'm a caffeine zombie suffering from constant book hangovers.
Nick's Humor he's on fire!!! His humor is more concentrated then it ever was in the Dark-Hunter series. Not to mention all the juicy deets and insight you get into his life.
How it's seamlessly synchronizing already in ways to the dark hunter series.
pretty much every scene almost all of them had me laughing
There was no slow patches in this book. when the backstory got near that pace something unexpected happened or you found yourself laughing at Nicks humor.
intrigued with how far into Nicks backstory this is going to go and on which side his character might finally fall in the dark hunter series which parallels with this one in some ways.
Holter, have you ever been to New Orleans or just the back hills of Kentucky?
The story was ok I am sure every high school student would love to find out they have super powers. Most teens seem to really like this book and after all it was written for them. The obsession with sex and the way they spoke about girls and women did bother me. Over all this may not be what I would like teens or tweens to read but they will probably enjoy it.
I love science fiction. I love the reluctant hero. Characters that try to do the right thing no matter what.
As a new reader to Ms. Kenyon, it was a little confusing at first. Caught on fast though, really enjoyed it. Bought the remaining 4 books available. Was not disappointed.
Too hard to put down, ready to zoom through this fast paced series! In love.
The sarcasm. The smooth stream of pop references. The characterization. The sarcasm.
Honestly after reading so many urban fantasy (out of pure desperation, hunger and starvation...) NOTHING can replace good witty writing.
* i totally agree with the other reviewer saying that you should be mindful of your environment while listening because this makes you laugh at loud.
I was warned and yet...
