This book was well worth the wait. The story of Leo and Katherine is the best of the series.
I have previously read this in paperback & I wondered if a female narrator would be able to pull off the performance of Leo Hathaway, the male lead. I had to get used to her narration, but as in the written version- Leo steals the show. Repeatedly. If you enjoy romance with witty dialogue, well-developed (and stubborn) characters, who are driven by a plot that should not be plausible but is made comepletely real by this wordsmithy author, then this is a book for you. Or perhaps you just like bonnet-eating ferrets... that'll work too. If i had more than two thumbs, it'd be all thumbs up from me.
I love Leo in all the Hathaway books. This one is my favorate because it's all about him, he's hilarous.
I have been waiting anxiously for this book. It was better than I thought it would be. Love the audio as well.
I wasn't too fond of the first Hathaway book, but I have liked each one more. This is the best so far. Leo and Cat is a delightful story.
This was Leo Ramsey and Catherine Marks HEA. If you remember, Cat is the governess to Leo's sisters. She is uptight, proper and a mystery. Leo is a rascal, having list his way after his fiancée passed away in his arms.
In this book, a widow came to claim the Ramsey estate unless Leo got married and produced an heir. And Cat's past was quickly catching up with her. This was a case of Leo and Cat saving each other. Vintage LK. Great writing, witty characters, loving fam. A great read by Rosalyn Landor. She just brought this book to life!
The Hathaway family is completely charming, and I recommend reading the entire series in order. These are some of Kleypas's most lighthearted stories and characters, though there is plenty of drama and suspense. Plenty of humor in the witty clash between Leo and Cat.
Some of the best dialogue in a romance I have ever read - a terrific story line and all wrapped up in a touching romance. This is a must read and an all time favorite!
Definitely my favorite book of the series. But I'll admit that I"m oddly not really interested in reading the last book after devouring the last four. I guess my obsession with the Hathaways ended with Leo.
I really enjoyed the story line.
When Leo tells Kat how he really feels about her.....I am a hopeless romantic
I loved Leo's character.
