Words I live by: Charm is a glow within a woman that casts a most becoming light on others~Jason Mason Brown
I love the story. I have read the book over and over. My least part is the narrator.
The correspondence between the two characters and the cod piece in the renaissance section. I laughed out loud. Awesome!
Don't like voice. I barely could finish the book.
The book is already irresistible but the audio would be irresistible it there was a better narrator.
Buy the book (only)
Good book but I had to make myself listen past the first chapter. Narrator's voice is horrid.
No Way. Can't take that much of Jeffrey's 'voices'.
My only problem with this performance is that the narrator, Jeffrey Cummings, made Marguerite Argeneau sound like a middle-aged mother. She may be 700 years old; however, the Nanos keep her at an optimal thirty or so. This includes her voice.
This is the funniest book I have listen to. You must listen too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never laugh so hard. I will listen to it again.
the storyline is weak and uninteresting, the narration poor.
No, the narration was poor I would not want to try another
No, the narration was poor as was the storyline. I really struggled with finishing this book!.
Enthusiastic listener =)
Although the narration wasn't my fave, I still managed to listen to it in one work day.
A strong story with some really good laughs in between ....and what a lovely family *sigh*...
Totally worth the credit on this book and will def continue spending credits on the next ones.
Going to continue with this series =)
Give me water to swim and surf in. That with a glass of white wine and the sun. That's heaven.
This is my favorite of the Argeneau series. The story was fantastic with all the little bits that when put together make for one entertaining story. It lays the ground work for who Lucern Argeaneau is and how complex e really is.
