"Made my daily commutes fly by"
I usually read books by this author but just don't have the time to sit for hours and enjoy a book. This audio book was wonderful and can't wait for the next release by this author...she is one of my favorites.
"Sookie, Eric and werewolves oh my"
Another great book. Eric and Sookie's relationship evolves, but an unexpected visitor puts a strain on it. Another fairy and a few werewolves put Sookie into danger again. What is a woman to do?
"Okay Plot Annoying Reader"
I love this series, but this book was a little thin on plot. There is no real character arc. There are just a series of things going on. There is a slight mystery, but no real tension is built. The reader's accent and inflections are annoying. Sookie's voice winds up being a cross between Cajun and whiney. I'll buy the next one that comes out, but I hope there is more plot and they have a different reader.
I am a retired Court Reporter and I LOVE books. All kinds of books but my favorites are mysteries and period books. I like civil war books and some biographies.
"Dead in the Family"
Another homerun for Ms. Harris. I hope it won't be the last in the series. I'm ready for another.
"I Adore Sookie!"
Another entertaining work! Johanna Parker does an amazing job of narrating and is completely believable as the voice of Sookie. It's torture to have to wait for the next book in this series.
