This is an exceptionally well rehearsed and expansive overview of WWII, albeit with an extreme bias in coverage towards the European operations. Very well presented and easy to listen to, with a great performance by the narrator.
A lot of new stuff I had never heard before--the author has very interesting perspectives on everything you thought you knew about WWII.
The narrator is great. Not only does he do a great Churchill impression, but his dry British wit comes through quite well.
Not bad, but old english accents tend to but me to sleep. The information contained in this book was good. Much of the history was retold to get to those parts that were slightly diffrent. This might be good for the novice. I think the novice would have left the book before the end.
