Excellent read. Loved and enjoyed every moment of the read. It had everything a good book needs to have to keep the reader entertained.
this wasn't the great book I wanted it to be. It wasn't a bad story, there just wasn't anything in it to make you want to root for someone or hate someone or feel much of anything. It was ...eh.
I love Sarah Addison Allen's other two books, Garden Spells and Sugar Queen, but this book was just so-so. It was as though she needed to pay her mortgage, so she threw together another book. It had the same magical elements as the other two books. I don't know if this book was too similar to the others, or whether the plot was just not compelling enough.
