This is a beautiful testimony that has helped me to really visualize what my sister experienced when she first got to heaven ... what my loved ones have experienced ... what I will experience one day.
I honestly can't think of a comparison book.
Himself ... although I came to really respect and adore Eva and his children.
I thank God for the way He blesses us with strengthening testimonies ... what a loving Father we have! I thank Don Piper for being obedient and hearing from God so as to share what God wanted him to share! What a blessing this testimony is.
I am a miracle worker. Doing what I can to choose love over fear.
A human touch as found in "proof of Heaven" and my. Favorite 'Heaven is for real"

Its a God thing
I had read some of the reviews of this book prior to purchasing and almost didn't buy it- glad I did! No the book is not a whole book about heaven but more of the real life experience and struggle of a Christian with a traumatic life event. I love the candidness Mr Piper gives in this book about his struggle with depression and desire not to live at his darkest moments, because as Christians we think we should not have these thoughts. If you are a person who struggles with the "Why" and "What ifs" in life read this book!
I NEEDED to hear it all. Primarily because my dad just fell, bumped his head and a week later is dead but also because we all have a purpose and even in immense pain, Don't Piper found his.
This is a story of a courageous man and his trip to recovery. However, the "Heaven" portion of the book is very sparse and only incidental to the story.
