Actually, this is "again" for me. I read this book many years ago when it first came out and was happy to find it on Audible. It is one of my favorites and I most assuredly will listen to it again. The characters are funny, creepy (villain) and charming wisecrackers and there is a dog.
I liked all of them but "Woofy" was my favorite.
As mentioned above, "Woofy".
It did make me laugh, but then I wouldn't call it an extreme reaction. You can't help laughing at Dean Koontz's great wry humor even in the midst of creepy chaos.
This is another one of my favorite Dean Koontz novels, simply because it is funny, the characters are appealing and the story is unique with lots of action and suspense.
I bought this on cassette years ago and had to have it again via download. Koontz is again at his best with this tale. Tears is a very imaginative story with nonstop action from start to finish.
This is my granddaughter's picture! She is my love.
I am not a scary story person, but if the story is good, I will enjoy it. This was one that was hard to start, but kept my interest until the scary guy is not human. I was disappointed when I was at that point, but it wasn't obvious until near the end, so I finished it.
