I have tried numerous meditation cds, as well as hypnosis and NLP. I love this one the best. It truly is powerful and can take you to new heights of awareness that makes life so much better. I love the gong. It gives me a sound to send bad stuff into and I do like the stuff he says. Compared to someone of what I call "Hollywood Hypnosis" this sounds like the real thing. Even my dogs meditate when it's on.
Repeated use will initiate experience of the actual energy centers. I really value my time and this recording allows me to get in touch with the center of myself and live in my own magnificent glow.
This presentaion comes in two parts:
1)A theoretical introduction - that is perhaps a bit long winded if you already have a working knowledge of Chakras - and...
2) A guided meditation with gongs and hypnosis that I love. [ You can skip straight to the meditation (Chapter 3) after the initial listening].
I was very stressed the first time I litened to this, but I was in the zone within a few minutes. I kept taking large spontaneous breaths and jut thinking "Yesss".
This will definately guide you to a direct experience of your Chakras, so it is recommended to anyone who wants to let go, forgive, regenerate and be happy.
THE WORST ASPECT is the "AUDIBLE PROMO" that comes at the end of the presentation - just when you are drifting in a state of blissful energy, the Audible guy says something to the effect of "we hope you have enjoyed this presentaion" at a volume so far above the volume of the main recording that it is guarenteed to jar you right out of your meditation - profoundly annoying! I can live with these awful promos at the start of a presentation, but at the end of a meditation?!? Please, Audible, develop some sensetivity and respect for the material that you bring us(This is not the only meditation with the problem). If you must put these promos on, get some gentle music and a professional voice-over, and use an audio edit to ensure uniform volumes.
No. The introduction can be listened to in an awake state (eg. the car). The meditation section needs to be done in a restful environment.
Overall, well worth the price.
Excellent meditation. I especially like the swirling sounds of the gong for clearing out negativity. I have listened to the second half of this recording 9 times so far and plan to keep using it. Harijiwan Khalsa masterfully guides you through each of the Chakras. He writes on his website:
"The universe is powered by sound. The gong is the basic creative sound. Out of the gong comes all music, all sounds, all words. The sound of the gong is the nucleus of the Word. The mind was created out of this sound: it is like the father and mother together. The gong is the first and last instrument for the human mind."
I would like to have more meditations with the gong. The harmony of the mind within the waves of sound is energizing and empowering.
It is a good piece of working. It helps you to release energy from body centres.
It inhanced my interest in the subject.
This is an easy eye opener back to ourself. Fantastic!
He explains in an experience tone with a beginners understanding.
This was put together by someone who cares about quality not making money. It has a great intro to Kundalini. It backs everything up with brilliant music for mediation. If you are going to buy a meditation audiobook, this is the only one you would ever need. Again, this book was made for quality, not profit.
Say something about yourself!
I listen to the second part of this audio book all the time, and love it!
This is great for beginners as well as seasoned folks trying to get into meditation and really start discovering what meditation and connecting with your personal energy is about. 5 stars in my opinion. Why not get rid of negativity? You won't regret it. Just listen that's all you do., the more you listen the better you feel.
I bought this book from my phone based on the reviews. This was a mistake. The author/narrator's voice was not what I expected and detracted from the enjoyment of the book. It is like listening to Rocky Balboa try to read Shakespear.
