I loved Ethan! The perfect boyfriend......
Kevin does such an awesome job delivering all the different characters. I LOVED his accents and non-accent. He brought wonderful energy, emotion and drama perfectly and his voice is easy to listen to. I didn't want it to end.
I loved the narrator for this story and I already knew I loved the story as I have read it before. My 1 disappointment was that there are dream sequences in the story that are important to hear that were inaudible. I have emailed for help with this issue and have received no response. The story is great though!
Mediocre, flat, boring
good for not very discerning teenage girls with fixation on the supernatural.
Not even as up to the level as Twilight, which is a very low bar indeed.
The only good thing about this book is the narration, but definitely now worth a credit.
I am a fan of young adult fiction, and have listened to a few excellent ones. This was not one of them. I am shocked that it has gotten such high ratings from other listeners. Though the narrator does and excellent job, the story is pointless, and the main characters are shallow and uninteresting.
I enjoyed this story and the development of the characters. I would put this book in the teen catagory though based on the theme of the story.
I enjoyed the connection between the characters.
I think that I will order the next book in the series, I did enjoy the book, I'm just not in a huge hurry to download the next.
I found the book interesting and enjoyed listen to it. The writer did a wonderful job in creating the characters. and if there is a part two I will look forward to it. I don't like reading the begining of a series though. it always seems to long for the next book.
Another boring book I can't finish. No idea what this is even about since I didn't have the patience to keep listening. I hate wasting credits.
Just A little bibliophile!
I love the characters, particularly Ethan and his genuineness. Also enjoy the intrigue and the mystery of him meeting Lena, getting acquianted, and slowly learning more about her, and the world she comes from. It's interesting to have this type of story told from the young man's perspective. Also, because while the story may be a bit leisurely and take it's time to develop at some points, that can be deceptive (leaving one with the
I would have to say Ethan himself, and the way his inner
He really embodies Ethan and brings his world to life, making it feel quite real...very convincing. The different characters are distinguished through his excellent narration and accents. He seems to bring just the right rythym and cadence to the story.
Yes, that was a temptation at many points during the story when I couldn't tell what might happen next.
To me, this is a unique, engrossing story told by way of good writing and even better characters...I will definitely be following each installment of the story! I believe you would become addicted also, and hang on to find out what happens next!
