"Hard to put down"
After seeing the movie and hearing about the trilogy I decided to download this book. It is the first book of the more than twenty I have downloaded that I could not put down, getting through the 20 hours within a week and between work, life and spending time with my family.
Gripping suspense throughout and more twists and turns than Lombard Street. Ok maybe that's a bad simile but that book was incredibly good and I'm about to head back to download book three.
"Incredible Suspense"
This book, and the series as well, is fantastic. It gets you locked up from beginning to end. The narrator also does a wonderful job. I recomend it.
"Best narration I have heard yet!!"
Saul Reichlin brings out so much life in a narrative already enriched with lively interesting characters.
It is an amazing experience listening to Saul. I am truly excited to listen/read the third installment.
"Buy Abridged Version"
Buy the abridged version as this is a bit too detailed for an audio book. First time I have said to buy Abridged version, as I travel a lot so usually for me the longer a book the better. However an Abridged version of this book would probably have had me it a 5 star.
"Amazing"
I think I enjoyed this title more cause I was listenting to it as opposed to reading it myself with all those difficult names.
The narrator Reichlin is so good with the different accents and voices that it just makes the book that much more interesting.
It's a shame that we won't be getting any more titles from Larsson after this trilogy.
He is one author who keeps you guessing till the end. And when you get there it's explosive and nothing near what you would have imagined.
You can't help care for his characters like Lisbeth Salander and Blomvkist.
"The Girl Who Played with Fire"
A follow-on from "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" - again brilliant - a must read/listen!
"the Girk Who Played with Fire"
Holds the reader to the last word.
"The Girl Who Played with Fire"
Exelent story and exelent narration by Saul Reichlin. Thanks.
"Good thriller"
Almost as good as the first in the series--though what's with all the product placement!? A bit odd particularly given Larsson's political views. Still, it was an exciting listen and Saul Reichlin was once again an excellent reader. I look forward to the third in the series.
