I love David Sedaris. The first time I heard him he was describing his job as a Macys Santa Elf and I was hooked from there. He's an understated and engaging writer.
I dont think I had a favorite character per se.
Yes. And this one has been funnier than the others Ive read
There were plenty of times were I was laughing out loud
This is a really good collection of shorts. The only problem is. It's so short. I thought my app had malfunctioned when it ended an hour and change into the recording.
This book is hilarious. Absolutely a good time
Ignorance Abroad. I have shared it with my dad-- who was not a David Sedaris fan-- and other family members and they all loved it!
I dislike most things "live." With his readings the back round laughter is not annoying-- but adds to the mood of his readings. LOVE IT
DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS AUDIO BOOK IN PUBLIC.
I laughed so hard that I snorted and almost wet my pants.
You have been warned.
He is so funny. I'm laughing during the entire book
Every story was memorable
I loved them all
I laughed the entire book
I have 2 books by Sedaris, I need more
My fault. I wasn't paying attention. I just saw "unabridged" and the price ($14.98) and thought it would be more than one hour and 15 minutes. And this was to download it onto my OWN CDs. I feel ripped off, but have learned a $14.98 lesson.
David Sedaris' humor is wonderful! Hearing him read his commentaries is hilarous. A must read for everyone!
An excellent production - Sedaris is very very funny. I really enjoyed this listen
I was listening to this on an airplane, and was afraid I was disturbing others because I just couldn't stop laughing. Great fun!
I love David Sedaris's audiobooks. They just can't come out fast enough for me & this one is just as entertaining and enjoyable as all the others. Now comes the wait for his next little slice of genius.
Sedaris come across as a modern day Mark Twain. His tales are so well written, real and told so well that I am able to listen to him over and over and still be surprised at how good he is.
