This is a funny, smart, entertaining story.
Jane is a character that kept me laughing through out the story. Her personality makes the story easy to read.
The narrator was wonderful. The performance complemented the story beautifully
Funny, surprising, entertaining story
The quirky dialog
I was a little disappointed in the story. It dragged a little for me. It was still funny and I liked the characters.
Amanda Ronconi turned in another stellar performance. Love her treatment of all the characteres.
I'm sarcastic, witty, and full of myself. What more could you ask for?
I haven't read the print version, but I think so. Amanda Ronconi really gave life to the
I like that it was fun. The characters were all down to earth and fun. I'm tired of aloof, emo vampires stories.
I have listened to her in other Molly Harper books, and she is excellent.
If you are looking for a quick fun story, this is it. Assuming you like sarcasm and quirky vampires.
I love books!
I think one time is enough
I do feel as if many of the ideas in the nice Girl books were borrowed from Charlene Harris's Sookie Stackhouse books. I don't know who is borrowing from who. The
I found myself not wanting to listen to this in one setting.
Fat Chick getting Fit!
If you love Vampires and need some sarcastic humor, you will love this! Don't hesitate to download the whole series!
Love Molly Harper and this series. I have read them all. If you want THE Great Escape, jump on the bandwagon for this series. Tie that listening device to you waste, put in the earplugs and get down to the disliked chore while you listen. This and the rest of the series will have you laughing out loud and that disliked chore done before you know it.
I am a retired Court Reporter and I LOVE books. All kinds of books but my favorites are mysteries and period books. I like civil war books and some biographies.
I would recommend this book and series to anyone who has a sense of humor and an open mind. Pure entertainment.
Tell us about yourself!
A really nice book with a great performance. Amanda did a really good job and it was nice to listen to. Sometime a had to laugh out loud. Funny.Perfect for the commute to work and back.
Poor Jane ??? so much to deal ??? a black window grandmother remarrying AGAIN; the loathing sister with the grandmother trying desperately to get the family home away from Jane; a bridesmaids in a werewolf/human wedding where the dress looks like something crochet to cover your you toilet paper, a mother who refuses to acknowledge her new status as a vampire a boyfriend/sire who keeps disappearing for weeks at a time.
Again laugh out loud moments easy to listen to while driving. Again Amanda Ronconi does a great job narrating!
scintillating, comical, entertaining.
Just good easy listens. Don't pass up if you like the vampire/werwolf genre.
