    "4 Stories"
    Any additional comments?

There are 4 separate romances in this one. I kind of liked that approach. This could be read as a standalone because some of the stories were explained a bit summing up earlier books. I personally have not read the first few books of this series and feel I really don't have to because I pretty much got the gist of the stories with this book. Saves me some moolah! The narrator did a wonderful job conveying the characters feelings. Overall, a good quick listen.

    "Not my favorite"

This is not one of my favorites book in the series. The main couple doesn't even take up most of the book. It felt a little too much like a filler book. One that links two books in a series together. I still love the characters and the town so I'll keep listening.

What did you love best about Paradise Valley?

I have a son who suffers from PTSD, and TBI....it is not fun or easy to understand. Robyn hit the nail on the head. It brought this issue to light in Virgin River.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Paradise Valley?

The personality change in someone who suffers PTSD and TBI. They become a different person. Someone you don't know.

Which character – as performed by Therese Plummer – was your favorite?

The role of the former weed grower (sorry right now I can't remember his name). He was honest about his past....and all of that came together for the reader. How he useds his disability help Rick realize how life can go on

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Made me cry...as a family member of one who suffers from PTSD....it took me through the pain again.

    Any additional comments?

A wonderful book...as is all of her Virgin River books

She's a fabulous reader. It's amazing how she modulates her voice for each character. I am in awe of her talent.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes.

    Any additional comments?

Robyn Carr's Virgin River series is a wonderful series of stories which are uplifting.

    In my top 10

What other book might you compare Paradise Valley to and why?

Books 1 through 10 of this series, I cought on to this series by mistake and have found myself unable to stop listening to one bok after the other.

What does Therese Plummer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Yes, by being informative but not to overwhelming to be boring.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Truly, nothing.

    Any additional comments?

I recomend this series highly, you will be cought in the life of the charactes and unable to put this book down. It is funny, I buy other books to listen to and find myself at the end of the book ordering the next one and putting my new one on standby.

    "A powerful story..."
What made the experience of listening to Paradise Valley the most enjoyable?

It shows you the life of a wounded soldier and his psycological journey to emotional recovery. I also enjoyed the powerful love story between Rick and his girl and how she stood by him though the many dark days.

What other book might you compare Paradise Valley to and why?

I would compare it to any other Virgin River book. So far I have listened to the first ten books of the series and I love each and every one of them. Robyn Carr is a wonderful storyteller. I specially love how she continues to build the stories of her previous characters. Each book has the love story of a main couple but it also tells you how all the other characters are doing and evolving. You really see the whole town of Virgin River evolving and changing. The Virgin River series is my very favorite romance series.

What about Therese Plummer’s performance did you like?

Therese Plummer is simply the best narrator I've ever listened to. She is just perfect. She is consistent with the voices of the characters throughout all the books. She can do so many voices is just amazing and her voice is just delightful. I would suggest any new audible listener to choose one of her books to experiment because she is just that good. She will hook you up on audiobooks.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not really. This story is very strong emotionally, it takes to war and it shows you how life is to a wounded soldier. I found it a little strong to listen in just one sitting. The romance takes a while to develop due to how emotionally wrecked Rick comes back from war.

    Any additional comments?

This is just another hit for Robyn Carr and the wonderful Therese Plummer. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good romance.

"Good but not my favorite in the series"
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This was a great addition to the Virgin River series but not my favorite. I got this one out of order.. so I need to hear the previous one now.

The characters are still strong and I think Shady Brady may become my fav!!

Would you be willing to try another book from Robyn Carr? Why or why not?

    YES

    Which scene was your favorite?

The street scene between Dan and Rick

    "A great read."

I definitely enjoyed this book as I have all in the Virgin River series. I didn't find the chareacter development quite as strong as in other books in the Virgin River series but it is a welcome and much anticipated addition.
