I am really enjoying these books, and the arration is really awesome. I have had some rough times, but this book makes me forget about them for a while.
I love books! Audiobooks take stories to the next level. I'm obsessed with Audible and will try to rate all of my books. Happy Listening! ;)
This is the best on the series so far. Even funnier, wittier and interesting. It was a very fun listen/read.
Quirky fun and easy to relate to! Lovely book! If Sookie Stackhouse's sense of humor and charm appeals to you, this series is for you!
I can't say that this was the best series of this genre, but it was certainly lighthearted and cute. Like other reviewers said, it's part Twilight, part Sookie Stackhouse, hence it reads like a full-on rip-off at times. But if you don't care about that, it's quite enjoyable! Cute relationships and quick dialogue.
The narrator had a habit of making her male characters sound more nagging and whiny than was necessary, but I've listened to worse.
I enjoyed the heck out of this series, and Molly Harper did a great job of wrapping things up nicely! I think I am going to miss Jane - will definitely listen to these again and again!
Note - if you like the narrator, Amanda Ronconi, check out the Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent. (Good books!) :)
I love how Amanda captures the Southern culture without the overdone drawl. Molly writes Southern in its true old Southern reality. I fell in love with the book and characters immediately.
No and Yes, I like to read and listen. Listening does make the story better I can get a better picture. Also get a lot more done around the house when I listen. But I do love the feel of a book in my hand call me old fashion.
I love her voice and I'm from Kentucky so she sounds perfect.
I laughed my butt off!! It has been a long time that I laughed that hard at a book.
This book is well worth the credit. I have become a huge fan of Molly Harper and have gotten all of the book's from this series!
sorry, but even the best of audios will never, ever, beat the print version
i cried from laughing so hard throughout much of this book. still can't talk about my favorite scene without laughing. "of look, drowning sinners'! Jane has turned into one of my all time favorite characters!
