"Great Book"
I think this was a fantastic listen, the narrator does a great job with the timing of humor and the writing is just a lot of fun. I had to be careful while listening to this on the trolley to and from work to keep from busting out laughing and having people think I was nuts. I highly reccomend this book and if there are others by this author, I will certainly check them out.
"Really?"
I am honestly not sure why this audiobook has so many good reviews. It.is.awful. The narrator cannot do male voices well and every single thing that happens is completely predictable and cliche. I rolled my eyes at least every 10 minutes at the banter between Heath and Annabelle you can see every line coming. Do not waste your money or your credits on this one.
"Hard to put down!"
A good contemporary romance, that kept me smiling. The kind of book one can't put down.
I love books, it's my great escape.
"My first book by Susan E Phillips"
This is my first book by Susan E Phillips and I loved it. There were some LOL moments and some very sweet moments. This is why we love romance books. I will get more books from this author. Note: another reviewer mentioned the blue lady...I really did LOL.
"Great Humor"
I thought the book was well written. This is the first book I have listened to by this writer and I loved her sense of humor. A strong funny, sarcastic main character who had great banter with her love interest. Didn't care for the way Boady was read by the reader but other than that, it was great.
"annoying pretend-male voice"
I think I would have enjoyed this more if it wasn't for the female narrator reading the lines uttered by a male with an exaggerated masculine voice..was a little annoying.
"Match me if you can"
This was the first book by this author that I have listened to and I really enjoyed it! I thought the narrator did a fabulous job and I especially liked her voice for the 3 year old daughter of one of Anna Belle's friends. The story made me wish I had a group of friends like she did and also her outlook on her life. I plan on listening to Nobodys baby but mine next after previewing it on my Kindle and it seems just as good.
"Always enjoyable"
This is another good one by S.E.P. If you are new to this author and you like light, humorous romances, she is one of the best. I always enjoy her stories, and the Stars series is my favorite. She introduces the characters she will be writing about in her future stories. If you like this format, you can't go wrong with S.E.P. If you can, start with the 1st book: Phoebe's story, then read them in order. Phoebe and Dan are always referred to, so it is good to know their story ( and one of the best stories too).
This will not be a wasted credit. Actually none of S.E.P.'s credits are wasted.
"Mills and Boon meets Bridget Jones"
Im one hour in and I know how this is going to end. Cheesy and predictable. The only mystery is what the heck those other reviewers were reading when they gave it 5 stars.
"Entertaining!"
It was a great listen. I loved the narrator. She really made listening a treat. The storyline was cute. And I caught myself laughing out loud many times. The combination between the author and the narrator is a perfect mix. I would definitely listen to another SEP book read by Anna Fields again. It was quite entertaining.
