This is a great book with a wonderful incite into the life of this very funny lady with all the ups and downs of every day life and easy to listen to the beautiful voice of Liza Tarbuck
Would have thought there would have been a little more amusement but didn't come up to expectations. May be better in her next book!

"very good worth the...listen :P"
a VERY good book I was let down by the fact that it wasnt actually dawn french reading it but it still wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be :D
"Funny, insightful and very endearing"
This book not only made me laugh but it also brought tears to my eyes and warmed my heart. Liza Tarbuck is an excellent narrator who really brings Dawn's words to life, as if it was Dawn herself reading them. What an excellent book!!
"Dear Fatty by Dawn French"
I really enjoyed Dear Fatty, as well as being humerous it was very touching in parts and very well written. A wonderful insight into one of my favourite acctresses
rally enjoyed the book, a bit muddled but funny non the less - waiting for more
"Reading 'Dear Fatty'"
I downloaded this book after hearing from friends about how good it was - well they weren't kidding. I began listening on my day off (Monday) in the morning and continued throught the day - I just couldn't stop. This book has to be the best account of someones life I have ever experienced. At first when she said it was in letter form, I thought it may not work - but it did - fantastically. Lisa Tarbuck did a stunning job of narrating (in fact I am just about to see if she has read anything else, as I may purchase that too) however not before going right back to the beginning of 'dear fatty' and listening again.
Dawn wrote with such pure emotion throughout, I think I fell in love with Lenny aswell: after hearing her account of him. Dawn you are an amazing woman and a wonderful writer, please don't stop there; write something else.
I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook, even though Dawn French is not the narrator, you soon get used to Lisa Tarbuck as she sounds very similar.
Has all kinds of emotion through the book, especially lots of laughing.
