Great Ghost Story.
I've read all of the other books with Melany Middleton.
I've listened to all of Karen White's books with Aime Bruneau. I wish she would do more!
Melany Middleton or Jeannette. Rebecca got on my nerves.
I wish I'd known earlier these books probably should be read in order. I read return to Tradd Street as the SECOND book. Spoiler! ugh, now I know the ending.. :)
Tried listening to it once, gave up on it quickly then after tried again when I had no more books left to read but gave up again. I did try to like it. The paranormal didn't bother me, it was to my mind a limpid story. Reader's accent was a bit too much also.
Retired RN High end of middle age or short end of old age! Adore Christian fiction, sci-fi fantasy, and mysteries.
Relax and enjoy
Enough of a plot to keep my interest, not so deep that I couldn't follow the book while doing home chores.
Apples and oranges. She does a good joy of narration without sounding silly. Her voice is clear with the right amount of expression.
My opinions are the same for the three "street" books.
Wonderfully written and the performance was stellar! The story line was unpredictable which made it fun.
When the fireplace wall was opened up and the secret room was revealed.
No, but going forward, I will look for books narrated by her.
Jack, because he was intriguing!
Loved the book and the mystery and humor... can't wait to listen to the next.
Couldn't get enough of it, some things may have been a bit predictible, but loved it anyways!
I liked this book as much if not more than the first book. Melanie and Jack make it a fun read because of the tension between them but the mystery gives it substance and worth the time and money. You will not go wrong buying this book. I can't wait to read the next story.....The Strangers On Montagu Street.
I like historical, southern books - southern accents, antiques - The Ole' West, Ghost Towns, Victorian Era, Southern Humor!!
Karen White is great!!! Can't wait for more of Melanie and Jack! Aimee is an awesome narrator too!!!
Once is definitely enough, but for
If they are looking for something light, that you can put down and pick up again when you feel like it, then yes. For me it was perfect as a dog-walking accompaniment.
She has a great voice, a real asset to the book.
I would not make a film out of this.
