I love these stories that pull together the past with the current issues in such vivid imagination like only Cussler can create. Portrayed by Brick's empathy and emphasis makes me feel like I'm there in the middle living the whole experience.
Cussler really loves to jump around and build slowly, and sometimes it gets a little distracting and boring. Also the action was even more unbelievable and unrealistic than usual with slightly excessive cute banter. Overall still enjoyable. Love the subject matter.
Vast treasure, faraway places, thoroughly bad guys, the twins, Al, Rudy, and a great hisric mystery to be solved -all packed into 1 book. What else do you need for a fun read?
HI I'm Robert I'm 51 I'm retired - disabled, so now I enjoy a softer life style like reading or listening to books, gaming and cooking.
Yes I would, it was a enjoyable story
Any of the past Dirk Pitt novels. I would rank it in the top ten Dirk Pitt novels
DIRK PITT of course
I'd say hooked, I binged it in two sessions. " yes some sad and funny parts "
Whether you read it or listen to it, Its a good story that will keep you going chapter after chapter.
Many explorations and adventures await!
I'm a sucker for fiction, Clive Cussler does it well with Dirk and crew. I bite every time I see a new yarn.
For new reads of Pitt novels this will be quit enjoyable. I found the performance excellent. As usual Summer comes across as a bit ditsy and written by a male chauvinist and preformed that way was well. Over all a good time was had by all
Clive is my favorite author, by far. He will be sorely missed. This book was surprisingly excellent! Unusual story line. Excellent review of history.
