I absolutely love the Mercy Thompson series and the Alpha and Omega series that compliments. I have listened through several times to both and I fall back in love with hem each time.
Hunting ground is one of my all-time favourite books!
The characters, the exciting and original story, the romance, the smart dialog, Charles....
Everyone between Anna and Charles.
A must see film for all romantic fantasy lovers!
Patricia Briggs is the best!
I jumped into this story having just finished listening to the novella to this series. Perhaps it is my ear, but Bran's voice in the novella now sounds like Charles' voice in Hunting Ground and vice versa. Mr Graham???
Absolutely, I recommend this. It's a great story and a well-done narration.
All of it.
Set a few weeks after "Cry Wolf". Charles Cornick and his father Bran, the Marrok, are at odds over Bran's plan to attend a conference with the European werewolves to discuss the Marrok's plan to take the werewolves public. So, instead, it is Charles and his new mate Anna who will attend. But while out shopping with two members of the host-pack, Anna is nearly kidnapped by a group of vampires. Did the vampires want Anna for themselves? Were they working on behalf of someone else? Who--or what--is threatening the werewolves?
He does a good job with character voices. Reading is clear and easy to understand.
It's a book I enjoy, but a bit too long to listen to in a single go. It did get me through multiple workouts at the gym.
Loved it. I really like the characters, Anna and Charles. It's been interesting to hear how their relationship is growimg. would definitely recommend this book to others.
I needed something between the Mercy Thompson series, and this is it! I love Charles and Anna, almost as much as Adam and Mercy... great storyline, wonderful characters I'm in love!
It's been 1 month since Anna and Charles have been married. With Bran's plan to bring the werewolves public, a meeting is scheduled with other werewolves from across the pond. What lies in store for our new couple? Treachery, deceit, and a shopping trip?
Easy fun read after the first book. Much less "teenage angst" and more story. If you made it through the first book and enjoyed the last part of it, you should easily enjoy this whole book.
