For one thing I couldn't tell one voice from the other from the narrator and the story line just dragged on too long. Too much detail not enough story.
The author effectively paints each scene for us with words, but I'm not certain why he's doing it. I don't need to have every blade of grass or bead of sweat described. I find myself too often saying, "Just get on with the story."
I won't purchase any other book by this author. I would have given it a lower rating, but the plot, once one extracts it from all the fluff, isn't bad.
I have been listening to this book for the last half hour and I am almost asleep. I can't figure out who is who because the reader is so monotonous the characters all seem to be the same. I have to keep starting over because my mind drifts off the story. The book runs on and on with boring discriptions of nothing and that monotonous voice makes it even more pointless. I seriously want my credit back.
