This is an alternative explanation of the garden of eden and the origins of people and religions. This explanation makes just as much (non)sense as the old testament and this book is just as (un)provable. The only this explanation is that this explanation is more fun.
Wonderful collection of unemotional data shared clearly and concisely, Easy enough to understand and entertaining as well.
print version better, not selected portions
ticks me off it was abridged
not worth the price.
I am a "Life is Awesome! Strive to be Worthy of it." student of life kind of guy. Feeding on Chaos and Empowering the Good. Group Hug!
I am not one to talk about books like these at work... However I think there is a lot of very good material that can be referenced. I am not religious so I don't need a creator nor do I care if we came from an ape or not. But this book takes a trip through time and brings up some very good questions that people that are in both Religious and Evolutionary beliefs like to ignore and do a subject change. This book has an answer, right now I am thinking about how I feel about it, it will take me a while to chew on it, because it is pretty... Wow.
I am glad I bought this book, I have listened to it a couple of times and took notes so I could do my own research on some of the tidbits mentioned here. If you are a hardcore bible thumper or evolutionist don't buy this book. I was a bible thumper in the early 90's so I have a solid background on that side of the house.
It would be hard for me to recommend this book to anyone, just because of the subject mater. I feel people in general are pretty much closed minded and will shutdown once it starts going off the map (and into space).
If you have read the book of Enoch and wish there was more to the story, my opinion is... this is where that story came from.
