An artistically woven story of a series of events that begins with historic tragedy, sacrifice, and redemption that then reaches into the present. The intricacies is the plot draw one into the lives of many fine and diverse characters. The pace carries the reader forward, yet one wishes the end of the book came much later. The narrator makes the characters come to life, and gives the reader more than one could expect. Excellent and unforgettable as all is brought together in a strong finale.
The story had a great storyline, characters, and dialogue! The narrator was fantastic!
loved her voice and how the narrator was able to change effortlessly from character to character
This was my first Nora Roberts novel and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I enjoyed the story and the narrator was delightfully entertaining.
I am about half way through the book, and am enjoying the story. It's not a literary great, but it is entertaining. The narrators voice, however, is really annoying. It's nasally and at times sounds like she is really struggling to get the words out of her throat. It is very distracting. I certainly will not buy another book that is narrated by her.
THE BEST PART OF THIS BOOK WAS THE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE CHARACTERS AND THEIR PAST. OVERALL NOT MY FAVOURITE NORA ROBERTS BOOK BUT STILL WORTH LISTENING TO .
