HATE spoilers! Enjoy HOT, sexy books w/a plot. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. Books outside HOT genre = books given to me to review
Sure, there are a few sexy scenes that a 'vanilla' romance reader might find offensive.
It is better than the 'typical' Nora Roberts book. It was a more complex plot and enjoyable action along with romance (or 3 romances!)
It was excellent...I adore the Irish accents!
No, I don't have extreme reactions. It was fun, fast paced with a good mystery and romances all in one.
Though it checked back to a historical event this was NOT a historical romance...(I don't care for historical romances.)
I love the intertwining of the relationships with the fates.
I love the Irish family. The personalities of the individual members were realistic of what real family relationships are.
This was the first time I've listening to Bernadette Quigley and I thought she did a wonderful job handling all the different characters. I always knew who was speaking.
I didn't listen to this in one sitting, but I did extend my listening by an hour twice. My audible account is my luxury because I travel for work and these books help pass the time.
Another hit for Nora Roberts - well done!
I have a busy career, travel a lot and don't have much time to read, so I listen to Audio books. I love reading!
I love Nora Roberts writing and this book was her usual good production. A bit like having a meal at a restaurant and when someone asks you a week later what it was like and you honestly can't remember.. It wasn't bad, it wasn't fantastic, it was acceptably ok.
Retired "Okie" librarian & happy to have found Audible for good stories & staying in touch with new authors & books.
Yes! The more explicted sex descriptions. There are only 3 but not necessary to the story. The plot is intriguing and interestingly educational. The action shifts from country to country. How the characters connect is intriguing.
Maybe, maybe not. This was not actually a murder mystery but a romance with suspense. It was easy listening.
No, I was not familiar with the narrator but had listened to the sample. She was excellent! The Irish accents were pleasant and the other voices were well done, both male & female.
No, the story wrapped up neatly. All the characters were taken care of in good time.
A school administrator and avid reader and listener of books. At least an hour of every day is spent in the car, and that's where the bulk of my listening is done. I tend to listen to books on "faster" mode so I can get through more books!
Fairly predictable story, by I enjoyed sticking with it as it unravelled and finding out how it would get to the predictable ending.
Overall it was a good story, a bit weak at the end and corny.
Liked the family connections and support.
Bernadette has a quality to her voices that adds to each of the charactors. I especially liked her scottish accents. She did a bang up job!
I really enjoyed this story, I was pleasantly suprised at the writing, not the usual Nora Roberts style. Although I'm a fan of Nora Roberts this one seemed to veer from her venue, it was more realistic than many of her other books.
Give me water to swim and surf in. That with a glass of white wine and the sun. That's heaven.
I've listened to Three Fates twice already and read tlhe story 3 times. I never get tired of this story of how sometimes, life takes a turn resulting in something very bad becoming something good.
When the oldest brother joined forces with the head of the security team.
Bernadette Quigleys performance was outstanding in the way she breathed life into the characters in her narration.
What a great listen, good dialogue, realistic characters, fun all the way through. Narrator did a great job with voices and accents.
I will listen again! It was one of those stories that gets better in the telling
Oh, she does a wonderful job on changing her voice to match a character.
Why, yes, but don't spoil a good story by rushing it!
