Yes ... the performer does a wonderful job interpreting the tongue-in-cheek genius of Eoin Colfer.

I suppose eventually Artemis Fowl must grow up -- if he does then I will too..... (wink).
As ever Nathaniel Parker's reading makes this book so enjoyable. The story was a good one, and I had to shut myself away somewhere quiet, to listen to the ending of the story, I couldn't turn it off!
Yes, but not our favorite.
Time travel in both cases. Sometimes time travel makes for too much leeway in creating an engaging tale.
They're all always good but Butler and Mulch are two favorites.
I love the Artemis Fowl series. Fun stories, masterfully read. Indeed, I can't think of another narrator I've enjoyed more -- he does a myriad of voices fantastically well.
This book introduces several new characters, in Barcelona and on the island of the demons. A fun mixture of friends and foes.
Lively reading that will enchant and keep you spell-bound. Many refreshingly new twists and turns that are quite unexpected.
As a mother of very young children, I'm always on the hunt for books that interest me, yet are kid friendly. (no cussing, vulgarity, etc) The Artemis Fowl books are wonderful. Yes, they are technically children's books, but they definitely have enough depth and plot to interest adults. The narrator does an excellent job, and is one of the few I really enjoy. Humorous, well-written and narrated- you can't go wrong with this series.
After finishing the Harry Potter audiobook series (with the fantastic narration by Jim Dale), I was hoping to find anything as similarly engaging. While this series is not as deep or complex, its certainly fun, exciting and highly entertaining. The narration by Nathaniel Parker is outstanding. I was hooked into Mr. Colfer’s world and felt a pang when the 5th audiobook ended. However, unlike the HP series, there is more still more Artemis Fowl to come, and I greatly look forward to the forthcoming 6th installment!
This is a wonderful addition to the story of Artemis Fowl and his adventures with the fairy people. All of our favorite fairies and humans return to make this a perfect addition to the series. This book should be read after the previous books as it builds off of them. I extremely enjoyed this book for its wonderful story line and the plot just keeps on moving.
A fun read, as all of the series are, just don't expect anything terribly deep! Artemis, Butler, and Holly get into their usual sets of scrapes, and a few twists and turns all trying to save the People. It should be noted that the story line has lost a bit of gas since the first couple of installments, though...
