In the middle. It was a nice romance but much too long.
Luke - a throw away child who became a master magicuab
she does the male and female voices very well
No. There parts, especially in the first 1/3 of the book which were dragged out.
Yes, because I thought it was such a heartwrenching story.
Her dialect and accents used during the reading.
Narrator mispronounced common vocabulary. This is akin to misspellings, in my opinion. She has the harsh tone of a smoker, so even when Luke was being tender, he sounded rough.
i found this to be a sweet. story full of suspense. intrigue and just the right touch of romance. i think this is one of nora's better stories.
I loved this book in print, but it lost so much in the narration. There is something about Sandra Burr's narration that just killed the story. it was so boring... so blah... so something. I had to turn it off after the first 15 mins.
none, did not finish it.
the story itself is awesome but nothing about the narration. I couldn't finish it.
I so enjoy Audible...helps me get my to-do list accomplished.
I did not want to purchase this book...it just didn't grab me at first, but I am almost thru all of Nora Roberts extended time books (more than 13 hours). I so enjoyed all of the book. Some a little predictable, but who cares, I didn't. I love the book. Didn't think I would enjoy a book that glamorized thieves, but it was more of a Robin Hood type....it was fun.
The New Orleans scenes. The family created by non biological characters.
No it's to long...but that's what I like...I feel I get more of my money's worth
No spoilers! Love HOT, sexy books w/a plot. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. I also review in exchange for books-lots of fun surprises!
It is a great suspense and adventure thriller-full of twists and turns. I'll definitely listen again. I have over 200 books so it is hard to rank among so many-and many different genres.
It is so unique that I cannot compare it to anything but it is fantastic. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys a romantic mystery.

Brought up together, Roxy and Luke are partners first in illusion, then in crime, and finally in passion.
But the shadow of his past stalks Luke, forcing him to vanish or see his loved one ruined. Years of hollow fame and lonely affluence pass before Roxy and Luke reunite to execute the most daring heist of their careers and to exact sweet revenge.

I enjoy books with graphic, mature scenes. This didn't have any so if you are looking for Lora Leigh or Maya Banks this isn't for you-however, if you've run out of those type (as I have) this is a great mystery with powerful characters, layers within the story line and romance.
Some [minor] cussing & [again minor] sexual innuendos.
