Well, since we all know the book is fabulous, this review is basically about the narrator. I know that if I don't like the narrator, I won't like the book, no matter how good it is. So, for me, Ilyana was a key element in making this a great audiobook. Her inflections, her emotion, and her restraint is perfect and I can truly visualize her as Bella. Also, I am so glad to see that she is narrating the rest of the series. Too often they change narrators throughout the series and it is difficult to stay focused once you are used to a specific narrator. Anyway, I truly loved the book and I hope to hear more from both the author and the narrator!
Excellent listening. My daughter begged me to download the book and I have to admit, I enjoyed it as much as she did. We're hooked!
If it burst into flames and gave me magic powers.
The writing is atrocious, boring, and just plain silly.
Different narrator would have been a better choice.
All of them, but especially Bella.
If I could give this zero stars I would. Boring story meant for teen girls looking for romance. It is terribly written and narrated. It was arduous to get through! If it was not recommended to me by (surprisingly) two big burly guys that are my friends and I would never had suspected would like this stuff. I can seriously never listen to their recommendations about books again.
