No, but i am not the type to read a book I can remember previously reading.
This book is worthy of praise. It gives you a story that closely resembles current events with a protagonist devoid of any political correctness doing and saying what most people wish they could. it is not the longest novel but well paced and thrilling all the same.
you will enjoy it!
Hard to say. Opening sticks out for some reason....
The interrogation scenes were intriguing, they were not violent as expected but intelligent
With bathroom breaks, yes, it was engaging enough to where I did not want to stop listening. I was thoroughly entertained
This series is amazing. I loved all of the books. By end of the 1st book, Mitch Rapp was my new boyfriend :) He's a bad mother & this is a series I would read again.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story was captivating, the narration was excellent and it left me wanting to start the next book immediately to see what Mitch Rapp is going to do next. I am a fan of the series. Whether you've heard many of them or haven't heard any of them, I recommend this book if you like good partriotic suspense drama. Flynn did it Again!!
This book started off slow. i wondered if i was reading the right book. Finally i got into the book and enjoyed it.
Thank you Mr. Flynn for writing another thrilling story. I enjoyed the ride.
By the way nicely done on cutting way back on the bad language. After your last book I was afraid I was going t have to give you up. This book has redeemed you in my eyes.
I have been on a Vince Flynn tear lately, as much for George Guidall's narrations as for the author's writing. Although some might find Flynn's Rapp series to be a bit formulaic with the repeated common themes, personally I have found most all of the books entertaining, well paced and well balanced among plot, character development and dialogue. This one, however, I have to place at the very top of the over 200 books I have listened to for performance. Guidall is pitch perfect with every character, male and female, American and foreign, and his cadence, covering all range of scenes from quiet reflection by a character to rapid fire action, is amazing. I had Bronson Pinchot's performance of Karl Marlantes's Matterhorn, which is also near perfect, at the top of my list until this one.
I am pleased to have discovered this writer and reader combination. Vince Flynn is a master of the craft. I plan to listen to and enjoy more of his books soon.
as always...i enjoyed the plot...weaving of characters and the leading up to the "next" adventure.
i compare Flynn's adventure to my other fav author Clive Clussler... i often listen to the works of both.
i have really enjoyed the narrator in each book i listen to with him... does a great job of getting the listener "into" the scenes.
An excellent story based on a possible nightmare situation in this country's future. How long before the powers in Washington put a muzzle on Vince and Mitch.
