I really enjoy Susan Ericksen's narration of this series.
Not really. The stories are good, but I am not riveted by any of the stories in the series thus far. They are good, but not great.
if i had part 2
When I bought the book it did not show it had 2 parts so I only have part 1 and no way to get part 2
It is above average but the author uses the LORD's name in vain constantly. It would have been more enjoyable if she had come up with an original expletive since the stories are set in the future.
The stories are original.
Eve in her wedding gown.
I am far beyond the plot of the story!..
Flashbacks of Eve's past dragged the darkness out of forbidden places of my psych that I have been hiding for so long... Cries, pleas, and struggles of a little girl were surreal and shattered my want to believe perfect self...
What is the immorality? Is it a flashbacks that hunt us for the rest of our lives or the images of death that we won’t let go?
I love the ultimate intertwine of love, suspend, and psychology…
Life in the Thumb
I love it when a fellow book lover and blogger recommends an audio book and it blows me away! Thanks to Nise (Under the Boardwalk), I decided to listen to J.D. Robb's In Death series on audio and I absolutely loved this production. She told me that the narrator delivered the goods with the voices and she was right. I loved Eve and Mavis' voices. Susan Ericksen, the narrator changed them up beautifully and in my opinion captured their personalities. This was a fantastic way to drive to and from work each day. I loved it so much that I bought the next book in the series and have already downloaded it to my iPod!!!
Recommend? With no qualms. This audio production was fantastic and Eve's backstory is starting to be fleshed out!
She really brought the characters to life, for me.
No, the entire book moved me.
I love it when the writer and the narrator are so good they make you want to meet and be friends with the characters.
The story is ok, bit too much sex thrown in where it doesn't progress the story. But the story is acceptable. The clues to the real killer was there but it wasn't too obvious like the previous book.
Audible addicted love mystery, lately stuck on love story. Mother of 1 Labrador and 1 perfect man. Work way too hard, and so ready to be retired
The cop and the billionaire like a Cinderella story.one of my favorite sometimes eve can really piss you off but Rourke do not give up on her. Excellent story with a surprising twist.
Eve, Peabody & Dr Mira all sound the sound alike. There is no passion in the narration.
As always the plot is superb. The narration is so disappointing. Eve, Peabody & Dr Mira all sound the sound alike. What happened?
"Immortal in Death" the third book in the "In Death" series by J.D. Robb is a great audio-book. In this book Mavis, Dallas' best friend, is the lead suspect in the murder case that Dallas is investigating. A new drug is out on the streets that will kill the people that use it, and on top of everything else that Dallas has to put up with she is trying to get ready for her wedding.
Susan Ericksen does a great job with this book. The characters voices are great and gives you a real feeling to what makes them who they are. From the stern no nonsense voice of Dallas to the happy go lucky care free voice of Mavis. You feel like the characters are sitting right next to you.
