teacher & book lover
I fell in love with Logan...what a guy! Like all thee story Sparks books I read, listened to, or watched movies of, this is a love story. While the romance was fairly predictable, I enjoyed getting to watch Beth and Logan fall in love. I think most girls want a Logan to find them...a guy who listens and understands without being pushy or controlling.
Also like all of my Sparks experiences, this one has a sad twist ending. I have always complained that Mr. Sparks kills off a main character in every book. Well, he continues his streak, but as always, I was still shocked at exactly how the played out.
Good book, good narration. Worth your time and money.
Why does N/S always get the narrator who immitates female voices? I could not make it through for first page of this one. I love N/S books - NOT his audio books thouhg
I usually enjoy Nicolas Sparks books, this particular story was very drawn out, and easily should have been a short story, to long for a novel
I loved the story but this narrator just wasn't the best for a romance story. I felt like I was listening to the guy that speaks on the Disney tour ride! Like no joke I though of that dang ride the whole book!
It is not a bad book, and it is absolutely not badly written. And i really liked the story. But i am having Trouble with the fact that i actually liked the movie better. This i so NEVER the case for me. And that Got me wondering why that was. And i came to a couple of conclusions: first, the movie is in fact a VERY good adaption of the book (which is rare) and second, they actually managed to put more feelings into it and u FEEL the movie where the book seems kind of uemotional. So my point is: watch the movie instead unless u are a NS fan already. If u are Then u May find the book better. The narrator is ok, not exceptional.
