Not the best Stephanie Plum book, but still very good. Stephanie Plum and her world is always good for a laugh.
It's Stephanie at her best, I laughed out loud so many times my husband had to question what could possibly be so funny. The guys, her friends and the monkeys turn this into a giggle fest....
Absolute the worst purchase I have ever made with Audible. Stupefyingly contrived, could not wait for it to be over. I have enjoyed other of Ms. Plum's adventures but this was even below bad teen humor, and give me a brake with the monkey bit!
I am a big fan of Stephanie Plum. The between the numbers books are never quite as full as the numbered books, but this is still a great listen. If you're a Plum fan, get it. You won't regret it. The narrator is the same narrator for the other books, so you get the consistency of the characters. All in all, I really like it. Monkeys! Monkeys! Everywhere Monkeys!

I can't stand Stephanie Plum anymore. She's just so passive. Diesel brakes into her apprtment and she doesn't like it but doesn't do anything about it. Someone leaves a monkey tied to her door knob and she doesn't do anything about it. There is more to humor than a strung of absurd and preposterous plot points. Tedious and repetitive.
I enjoy listening to audiobooks while working in my shop or around the house -sort of mental multitasking.
If you have read any of the last 5 Stephanie Plum novels - no need to read this one. They are all the same. I would like to learn Stephanie's trick of eating nothing but donuts and other junk food, and still having a body appealing to members of the opposite sex. It's just the same old tired jokes and situations. I won't waste any more money or time on these novels.
