Once again, Janet Evanovich has us sitting on the edge of our seats waiting to see what is going to happen in Stephanie Plum's life next. The characters are engaging and the plot never fails to thrill.
This was the best book I laughed out loud. The narrator brought this book to life. I have not enjoyed a book this much in a long time. It is a must read. There is only one word GREAT!!!!!
I love Janet Evanovich's novels and anxiously await the arrival of new ones. Finger Lickn' made me laugh so hard I cried and my kids were embarrased. Great characters and escapades. I can't wait for the next one!
Of course I have loved all of the books however this one really made me laugh. I like how it wasnt just Steph always getting into trouble but her friends also, A very enjoyable book. Thanks Ms.Evanovich
I love Stephanie Plum. I love Janet Evanovich. I was thrilled to have number 15-but a little let down. The romance, which I really look forward to, was not as satisfying-I need MORE Joe, MORE Ranger! The humor, though, was GREAT! I laughed out loud-funny funny funny! Stephanie Plum is still great, Lula is my favorite, Grandma is the best! If you are a Ste;phanie Plum fan, you have to read this!
This is light, fast moving, fun & funny reading. I literally laughed out loud at some of the dialog and situations.
I highly recommend it for amusement and diversion.
This was a great book. It had me laughing all the way through. Lulu and grandma should have their own books.
I do not agree with the other reviewers. I love this series, and I love the characters. The reason I love them is because it is light, and cute, and I don't have to think too hard. I would agree that the 14th in the series was my least favorite, but this one was good. If I am looking for an edge of my seat suspense, I look elsewhere. But if I want to chuckle and know nothing too horrifying will happen, I reach for a Plum novel. I like the love triangle, and do not want Stephanie to choose one of them. My only complaint is I do not like the reader's voice for Grandma Mazur. The narrator for the first few books, C.J. Critt, did a much better voice for her, and made her hilarious. King's portrayal of that character isn't funny.
This was my introduction to Janet Evanovich and Stephanie Plum. The story was light and fun, the mystery was...not so mysterious. This is not Sherlock Holmes. Luls was a great comedy relief, Ranger and Morelli were totally fixated on sex all the time. Every other thing they said had to do with jumping into bed with Stephanie. Is that how Evanovich sees men? I'm sure if those guys were really as hard-up as they sounded, they would be getting it somewhere else instead of waiting on Stephanie Plum to give them some.
I laughed at parts, rolled my eyes at other parts, and i'm interested in going back to experience earlier novels in the series. As I have not read any of the other books, I can't compare this to what went before, but as a stand-alone read, it was fun. The narrator had a good range of voices that helped bring the characters to life for me.
