I've read many books on writing, and it's hard to go back to point and shoot books on stories and how they should be approached
If any of my friends develop an interest in writing novels or screenplays, I would definitely recommend this audio book. I read Christopher Vogler's book "The Writers Journey: Mythic Structure for Writers". Getting to hear him share some of that information was a good experience. I found Michael Hauge's information to be interesting and helpful too.
Hauge and Vogler agree on some matters but not others. The contrasting opinions add a valuable dimension.
This was great. Just a little over three hours, but very insightful and helpful. I bought this for Vogler, but I ended up really enjoying Hague. His examples are excellent and he cuts straight to the heart of a great story. I learned a lot from this audiobook. Highly recommend it!
Yes. They are great masters of the craft of writing. But it was too sintetic and superficial. I would really enjoy to listen other books by Michael Hauge and Christopher Vogler. Definitely.
I love to listen to this. It inspires me every time that I do. He's got the truth of the job down perfectly! Thank you
