"Super Mom to the Rescue!!!"
First, let me say this was the best narration! Fantastic Job!
What will a mother do to save her only child...pretty much anything! This book is filled with such heartwarming emotions. The tenacious heroine will do anything for her son. She will leap tall buildings and find a cure! This book kept me on my emotional toes. I was either laughing out loud or sobbing. What a wonderful story. I will certainly be listening to this one again.
"Very interesting and enjoyable entertainment"
Very light reading.
The interaction between the wealthy loner and the frantic mom was very moving! There were a few moments that brought tears to my eyes as she dealt with her dying son.
"Sweet and Entertaining"
Sweet story about a mother's love and determination. Enjoyed the mother's character as she tries to make life fun and bright for a ailing son. Therese is easy to listen to and her characters are easily identified as separate voices. Overall very good narrator.
"Not a disappointment"
Of course, yes! Susan Mallery is an awesome writer and paired with Therese Plummer = winner!!!
"Waste of credit"
The whole story was so silly I could not finish it. I hate the wasted credit.
"Overall decent"
A little corny but overall it was pretty good.
"Author is New To Me & I Probably Won't Buy Another"
Someone who wants to hear a story based completely in 'Fantasy Land'. The premise is silly and becomes more unbelievable [not in a good way] as the story continues.
Maybe I'm being a bit harsh but I wouldn't even recommend it as a 'beach or chick' read and is one of the 2 or 3 books I feel was a waste of my time.
Publishers Summary- Wanted: Single mom seeks billionaire's pocketbook to fund dying son's research cure. Will seduce if necessary. Blackmail is not out of the question. Miracles welcome.
Cynical billionaire seeks working mom with a heart of gold for PR campaign to improve his standing in the community. Must be willing to attend social events. Anyone looking for love need not apply.
It seemed like the perfect match...until the unthinkable happened.

The story becomes more unrealistic as it goes along. The author seemed to try to include every horrible thing that could happen to her characters (both) characters and the ending....Ah, I HATE SPOILERS so I'll say the ending was unrealistic as well.
She was good and did help me stay engaged to the story.
Not a thing - she did well for the material.
Other reviews say they were moved to tears and thrown into fits of laughter-none of that from me. Average to less than average fluff.
"Not Worth a Credit"
I couldn't help but roll my eyes on a lot of the circumstances and interactions that the main characters found themselves in. Some of the reactions were just unbelievable. I honestly had to force myself to try and finish it because I didn't want to waste my credit spent. I suggest not wasting your credit.
