Great story as per usual of Cassandra Claire. But the performance was awful. The voices didn't make sense and neither did the pronunciations of certain words like stele. This made it difficult to follow the story, especially the dialogue.
No simply because it drives me insane that the narrator is mispronouncing words and makes no effort for effective accents present in the first book. BUY THE REGULAR BOOK FOR THIS ONE.
Different narrator. Just really hard to listen to.
It is a pretty good story but gets to bogged down with all the drama, which seems repetitive and pointless! The back story however is good and the world created is interesting
Reader mispronounced several words during the reading including Steele, foyer, and several others. It was slightly annoying. However she did an excellent job with the voices and prosody.
The audiobook is divided into big sections with multiple chapters w/in each audible "chapter", which is pretty frustrating.
Good plot, although there seemed to be a few holes. She also uses very odd descriptor words at times.
I loved all of the Mortal Instrument books and enjoyed getting into the story a lot. Cassandra Clare managed to create a world which I could well picture in my mind and I couldn't wait to hear how the story continued.
The readings of all books were very well and brought life into them. I had to get used to a new voice in a new book, but they all did a great job!
