I listen to these as I drive and am totally hooked. The narrator is very animated and makes my drive go quickly. Love the Outlander Series!! Love Audible!!

I really wanted to like this book, having devoured the first two in the series, but, throughout the book, I felt dismayed at how a white female character from the 1960's could be so racist. She's supposed to be a likable character, but it's hard to like her with all her subtle racist attitudes.
There is a reason Diana takes years to finish writing her books - QUALITY!
The books are well written, well researched, witty, detailed and just hard to put down. Voyager somewhat gives closure to books 1 and 2, then about half way through Claire goes back in time again and... we have a new set of plots and new openings for the following books.
I am reading and "audio reading" Voyager for the second time while I patiently wait (quality, people!) for book 9 to come out; and although Starz season 2 so far has not disappointed - it is in fact excellent! I already can't wait for the third season to be announced, and for Voyager be put on the screen. That one could not come out fast enough!
I can't get enough!! Right from one book onto the next in the series. I am obsessed with these books and the characters. What am I going to do when it's over?!? As always , the narrator davina porter brings it all to life. I could listen to her talk all day long!!
wonderful story ...fascinating and full of surprises. highly recommend the series. love the speaker and her delivery.
I love this series. So detailed, and the depth of the world Diana has created is so fantastical. The only issue I have with the Outlander series is the lack of gripping action/mystery. I love the romance, but wish there was more "goose bumps" moments.
The performance is by far the best I have listened to, Harry Potter's Jim Dale notwithstanding. Loved it!
