Let me start with: I am not a believer. That said, I really enjoy with the way he plays with ideas and words; setting things askew. This is probably better in written form so one can return and review, but I like the audio version just fine.
I guess most of it seemed like common sense to me, but I guess 'religious' people would beg to differ! Loved it! And Ed Asner as God was amazing!
It was very inspiring and shade new light into my crazy life that keeps running in dead lock. Also it was very affirmative in that I confirms a lot of what I believed in but seen as odd behaviors by most others. It give me new guidelines to improve my life however it does give a lot my questions too.
That we are one and love is the answer. No religion is better than the other, all masters of the past was all real. different masters was sent to enlighten difference race or culture. You are your own master, and your the one to decide what you want to be. Just make up your mind and than staying with it. God will provide whatever you seek. And trust me, he/she answered.
God really listens and he is always with you. No sh*t!
ANSWERED QUESTIONS I CANNOT REMEMBER EVER NOT WANTING TO KNOW. GRATEFUL.

I would recommend this book to every single person in the world, regardless of your religious beliefs. It provides a logical perspective of what we think of as "god".
The questions that the author asked are the questions that I would have asked.
The explanation of how easy it is to change the direction of our lives.
The discovery that life is an experience. If we do not like what we are experiencing, then we just choose another experience.
I was ready to receive the information, and the information has made a huge impact on my outlook.
This book is the first of a three part series. I loved this book. Of all three, I believe that this one was my favorite for whatever reason. As I have said again and again, you have to remember that you have to have an open mind going into this book/series. It is not meant to be anything more than a thought provoking book, in my opinion. It is obvious that the author comes from a Christian background but I think that he asks questions that everyone has asked or wanted to ask or thought as sometime or another. It definately is a great discussion book, I think it can help you form your own thoughts on what you believe in think. However, I can see where those who are very strict in thier organised religion could get a little irritated. I confess at times I wanted to puff up like a blow fish to a shark but, the fact of the matter is if you can't let go of your preconcieved notions and just read this book to help you become more sturdy in your thoughts and maybe even change your thoughts a little then this is not what you want to read. I loved it and I know that I will want to read the series over and over again just to see if I can catch anything I missed. I have had very good inner conversations with myself as well as others on how it changed my thinking, I agreed with thoughts or I thought that thought was a load of crock. I believe it is a great beginning to a wonderful series:)
