About my least favorite audiobook to date. There are too many sound effects that detract from the story. They actually take your attention away from the reading of the story. The narrators foreign accents also are not very convincing and they all seem to sound the same. The story in itself isnt bad, but it can be a hard listen.
OMG - are you kidding me? The first of the new trilogy - Amazing. The 2nd - so so. Does this guy write screen plays because the 3rd book in the series - BLOWS! I had no idea what the real plot of the book was. All in all I think the story was too big for the author.
Good use of the regular characters from prior Bourne stories. But pretty clumsy use of accessory characters (such as Willard, the butler) to explain details of the story.
Personally, I found the use of music and sound effects in crucial parts of the story irritating and distracting.
No one who enjoyed the first four boooks

It was a good book, It just wasn't Jason Bourne
They butchered this Character and his backstory. In the first four books Jason couldn't speak Russian... Now he is fluent. After the Bourne Legacy, do you think he would EVER send his kids away to Maries Mom and Dad especially after loosing their mom. IF he send them to stay for a while, it would be with Maries Brother Jon.At the end of the Bourne Legacy Jason was ???54 ish??? and feeling his age. How did he get younger? The first four books used "CIA"... why the change to "CI" ?JUMPED THE SHARK
I'm a pilot who loves to fly! I've found Audible very useful while I work out and do other activities where I can not hold a book but can listen.
The good job the narrator does is completely undone by the cheesy sound effects and added ambient “mood” music which is slipped in throughout the book during selected parts. I found this very annoying and distracting. Some of the vocal distortions they add also make it hard to hear, forcing me to rewind a bit. If I wanted sound effects and music I would simply watch a movie!
