This was the second book that I chose from audible. At first I though it would be too long but once I started listening I couldnt get enough. I copied to CD, put it on my mp3 and the computer. It is a great book on friendships and learning from your different experiences in life. I wish audible would get their other books.
I made friends with the three women in this book and I was very sad when the book came to an end. The reader was excellent and I highly recommend it to everyone.
This was my first audio book. I began listening during the return trip of my vacation as I drove from Alabama back to New Jersey. I listened to over 14 hours straight--from Atlanta to Maryland. I just couldn't stop. I felt as if I hadn't blinked the whole time I was listening. The characters were so real it was easy to relate to them. I laughed with them and I cried with them. At the end, I felt great sadness--as if I would no longer have these "friends" in my life. My only complaint is with the narrator. The voices gave my a bad impression of some of the characters--especially the men. All the men sounded so ignorant. If you decide to listen to this book, just be prepared for the annoying voices of the narrator. Other than that, I highly recommend this book. I would have given it 5 stars of it were not for the narrator.
At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to listen to a story that was 19 hours, however this book kept my attention and at the end I wanted more.
