"Wonderful Story of Friendship Love and True Family"
This book takes you through every emotion a person could possibly feel. If you cannot relate to this book, you are a shell of a person!
It is a must read (or must listen) ha ha ha.
"Better Than I Know Myself"
This is my first book review. Not because this is the best book I have ever read, but this is my first opportunity to express my opinion.
I loved this book. It is so well written. I absolutely loved the voice of the reader. I look forward to the next book by these two authors.
"TMoore - Denver, Colorado"
Heart warming, great book about life and friendship.
"Watered Down Beginning, Great Second Half"
This book did not come to life till chapter 17. I understand the writers wanted to relate the past and college days of each character first, but damn 17 chapters for that? No warm milk needed if you want to be put to sleep fast. Okay, on the positive side, I really enjoyed everything that happened after college life especially when one character took ill, Im sure millions can relate. A sad but positive ending. An okay listen if you have nothing but time to listen.
"Great Story"
At times I felt myself drifting off into space due to the vast amount of description the authors give...But over all this is a great story line, I enjoyed it a lot. 3 Ladies from diffrent backgrounds all had a diffrent life lesson to learn, but the one lesson they shared is that life is not always fair,,,, Enjoy
"I was disappointed"
After reading "The Help" I scoured audible for my next awesome listen. Unfortunately, I found this book. "Better Than I Know Myself" might be a good actual sit down read since I found the plot interesting- but the narrator's voices are horrible- she switches between voices badly and it's really hard to determine which character she is trying to be. In addition to that, she reads slowly with awkward mid-sentence pauses that don't make any sense and clenches her teeth repeatedly to change characters even when the characters aren't supposed to sound angry. I liked the parallel stories of the characters but I kept getting so irritated by her style that I had to force myself to finish it. In comparison to the narrators for "The Help" this was not worth my monthly credit. :(
"very good"
this book was so good i got very teary at some part especially at the end!
"The Best!!"
I felt like I knew the women in this book. I couldn't stop listening in the car, home, work. The reader was excellent and I highly recommend it to everyone. High marks!!
"Good Listen"
it got slow at times
Carmen because she overcame so much
yes, narrator did a good job....the narration for Regina sometimes urked my nerves but it was good
no, it was a very good standalone and everybody's story was wrapped up well
