"The Immortal Highlander, Book 6"
I am a reader and a Librarian--Personally I find all of Karen Marie Monings books an escape that I look forward to reading. I fly through each book only wishing it wouldn't end. Her books have a balance of plot, character development, adventure, action, and sex to keep you interested and wanting more. Excellent!
I love books, it's my great escape.
"OMG Love these books: Love Adam Black"
KMM is a wonderful writer. This is one of the best books in this series. Girls do your self a favor and listen to the entire series of books. Not to mention the Dark series with Barrons and Mac.
"if you already enjoy the series"
The narrator doesn't really do the scottish burrs or the female voices very well but I was able to enjoy the story despite it. Typical historical romance but a tad cheesy even for this genre at the end but I would probably listen to it a second time for something fun and light.
"Wow!! The Blackest Elf was the Biggest SURPRISE!"
I loved that K.M.M was able to take a character that at times within the other novels you hated, and make him someone that you not only rooted for, but respected, and loved.
Probably the most memorable moment for me was when Gabrielle was packing to leave her house, running from Adam, and he burst in the back door and pinned her to the door! I loved his arrogance, and the fact that it never occured to him that she wouldn't want him. The quote about her wanting bondage, or a spanking was one of my all time faves from any book EVER.
Adam, for sure!
"A love worth dying for."
This book completely took me by surprise! I wasn't looking forward to reading about Adam, but he is now a favorite of mine in the series. NO! My favorite. He was deliciously funny, sexy, and just made me want to keep him for myself.
"wonderfull spell ond book"
Yes. I loved this book the ending almost mad me cry it was so touching
The ending
All of them
"This could be the best of the highlander series!"
Our hero Adam is not always portrayed as a good guy, but this book reveals him to be much more than a "dark" character. The story, like all the books in this series, is not only interesting but has an unexpected twist at the end. The narrator is outstanding. Between his narration and the story line, the reader gets caught up in the story quickly and stays that way until the last word is read.

"My favorite of Karen Ann Monings books"
Adam Blacks appearance in the Highlander series gave him an uncaring attitude about everything. It was a delight to follow him develop feelings and fall in love with the only person that could see him and to be concerned about the human race if the barrier between the realms fell. This book is an excellent listen.
His enthusiasm about what he was reading made me pay attention to every part of the book.
A lot of places in the book made me laugh out loud.
"Don't waste your time"
What a let down. I read a couple of reviews, and expected much better than I got. I don't recommend this. Make another choice.
"Far too short!"
No I wouldn't listen again, but not because the story wasn't good. I just don't listen to the books more than once ;)
Yes, I have listened to Karen Moning's books before. They are some of my faves. This story was good, but was over just as I was really getting into it.
I did listen to this book all in one sitting.
"Good finish to the series."
What I enjoyed most about the last book was how it included the characters from the previous books that I liked so much.
When you actually learned what the plan was.
Phil Gigante is by far my favorite narrator. I am actually looking at books that he narrates rather than by author. A book can be made or broken by the narrator. He is the best.
Absolutely.
Unfortunately I read the two series in the wrong order. The Fever series was also great and now I am starting Dani's book.
