I like any books that hook you within the first chapter. If a love story is involved even better.
This book was the grestest. I am now Kelley Armstrong's biggest fan. I am in love with Clay now. The three main characters have the best chemistry. I laughed, I cried and I wanted more. Aasne Vigesaa's voice was so becoming. She did a wondeful job with Clay's southern accent.
Fantastic book. Exciting and never boring. I have to admit I am a vampire, witch, faery kind of girl. But Bitten has pulled me into the the werewolf world too.
I usually don't read weir wolf novels, but I caught this one on sale and decided to give it a try. Elena is the only female weir wolf and is one of three weir wolves out of 35 who were not born into the pack. Armstrong tells Elena's story in the first person, which gives the book an intimate feel. Bitten is loaded with romance, conflicting emotions, danger, and suspense. The narrator does a good job distinguishing amongst the different characters making Armstrong's Bitten an easy and enjoyable read. Although I thought it was slightly too long, I'm glad I took a chance and will probably read more Armstrong in the future.
I picked up this Audible book on a recommendation from a friend - we both love the Twilight and Sookie Stackhouse series. Unfortunately this will not tide me over until the next book comes out, the characters aren't very likable, it's not well written and I didn't care for the strong Canadian accent of the narrator. What a disappointment!
I've been looking for a good series of books to keep me entertained in the car... I have to listen in chunks so it can't be too hard to follow.. this book fit the bill.. fast paced.. good character development.. good story line...
I really liked this book, an interesting take on werewolf theme, and a different type of romantic relationship. I enjoyed the dynamic between Elena and Clay, both not perfect, but that made the relationship more interesting. I enjoyed the descriptions of Elena's experience in wolf form. I also like the narrators voice, and enjoyed listening to her, which is important.
