No, I like the way Susan Erickson voices all the characters
All the other books in the series because I cant wait to listen to the rest.
No, but I wont read these books because I love the way she does the voices for each character
Fiction reader/listener: law enforcement, spy, military, science thriller, disasters.
Conspiracy in the Death Series meets its mark and more. Erickson is talented, but this performance was not up to par.
Tough NY dick
The unconditional support from our heroine's associates
This was a very enjoyable yarn, placed in the future but intelligently balanced with the never changing nature of the human condition
This was another good entry. The mystery itself was very good and the reasons for the crime was not clear until the very end. The interactions between the cast of characters was very enjoyable and I listen for these interactions more than for the mystery sometimes. I'm looking forward to listening to the next one in the series.
Another thing I like about this series is the consistency of the voices done by the narrator. Susan Ericksen has been the only narrator I've heard for this series and she keeps the voices the same across the many entries I've listened to. She is also a great narrator and fun to listen to.
Murder Mystery and... Suspense
In this book my favorite character would have to be Dr. Demotto. Although she doesn't appear a lot in the book - her character is vital to the story - and we get to see the foundation that she and Eve built their friendship from.
I also enjoy Dr. Myra in this book. She shares with Eve just how much she means to her - while at the same time putting Eve through a very difficult ordeal. All because of duty.
The moment that moved me was when Dr. Myra finally told Eve what she means to her. She shared that she values her as a colleague; as a friend; and loves her like a daughter. They have a very special relationship that grows from one book to another.
Yes. This book has a good mystery story, familiar characters from the series, and interesting facts are presented.
Eve, the main protagonist in the series.
The scene where Eve looses her badge and gun.
A medical mystery, a police internal investigation, an intrepid couple on a rouge mission!
J.D. Robb does an excellent job of pulling out yet another angle to Eve Dallas's complex personality and life. And she leaves the surprise to the very end. Loved this Eve Dallas mystery yet again!
Each summer I choose a series to ???read??? and this is the best! The narrator, makes all the characters come to life, and I find myself giggling out loud or shedding a tear! I can???t wait to work my way through the rest of them!
Absolutely enthralling, I became a J D Robb fan about a year ago, the way Nora Roberts writes is just fantastic. To sit and listen to what Eve is going to do next and what Roarkes reaction is going to be is riveting.I am on the second listening of all of them. My mother is now also a huge fan.
