Each summer I choose a series to ???read??? and this is the best! The narrator, makes all the characters come to life, and I find myself giggling out loud or shedding a tear! I can???t wait to work my way through the rest of them!
Absolutely enthralling, I became a J D Robb fan about a year ago, the way Nora Roberts writes is just fantastic. To sit and listen to what Eve is going to do next and what Roarkes reaction is going to be is riveting.I am on the second listening of all of them. My mother is now also a huge fan.
Loved the plot line of this Eve Dallas story, but I'm finding Eve's angry tirades becoming over the top wearing on my nerves. Think I'll take a break from the Eve Dallas series for a while.
I am a retired Court Reporter and I LOVE books. All kinds of books but my favorites are mysteries and period books. I like civil war books and some biographies.
I'm not sure who might like this. Maybe someone who has not been exposed to well written books that don't rely on gratuitous sex to garner interest in the story.
Not sure, but if this is an example of what to expect, not likely
The narrator couldn't hold character, making ti even more difficult to follow the poorly written story.
This is a poorly written, poorly narrated book. The story is so taxing that I couldn't get past the three hour mark - about halfway through the first half. I'm sorry that I spent my money on this.
Since this is the 8th book in the series that I've listened too, I found this one to be one of my favorites because of the personal attack on Dallas and how her husband, Aide and police possey helped her solve the case that... yes cleared her which you know is predictable but intriguing nevertheless!
